Masafi

Masafi

Named after a village on the edge of the Hajar Mountains in Ras Al Khaimah from which its water is sourced, Masafi has been the only mineral water producer in the Middle East since its launch in 1976. The beverage giant currently enjoys a market share of over 40 percent. Its 250,000 sq m facility in Ras Al Khaimah is capable of producing 90,000 bottles an hour.

The brand’s ambitious growth strategy includes penetrating the luxury beverage market – it partnered in 2017 with Indian brand Mulshi to offer premium natural spring water across the GCC region – to diversifying its product portfolio, which presently includes facial tissues, chips, juices, flavoured water and basmati rice.

To help preserve the environment from which it draws its inspiration, Masafi tirelessly advocates the recycling of plastic bottles in the UAE. For a more sustainable future, it also aims to empower disadvantaged children around the world by providing them with educational opportunities.
