Abu Dhabi National Oil Company

For the past 47 years, ADNOC has played an integral role in Abu Dhabi’s economic development by managing, producing and preserving the emirate’s hydrocarbon reserves on behalf of the Abu Dhabi Government. ADNOC’s many and varied activities have had a positive and lasting impact on the quality of life for millions of UAE residents and customers across the globe. As the 12th largest oil producer in the world – it currently produces three million barrels a day – it has helped create jobs for thousands of people.

Among the public, the name of ADNOC signifies a company that engages in multiple strategic community initiatives, including the development of roads, hospitals, schools and mosques. Moreover, the company regularly offers its financial support to the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, Emirates Red Crescent, and associations dedicated to children with special needs, as well as local sports and cultural clubs. It also endorses several international humanitarian aid and relief assistance causes.

ADNOC also sponsors several cultural events in the region, including the Liwa Date Festival, which encourages more sustainable cultivation and irrigation practices; the Al Dhafra Camel Festival, a unique event featuring the world’s only camel beauty contest; and the Al Gharbia Falconry Festival, which provides an opportunity for falconers, experts and researchers to celebrate the nation’s traditional sport of falconry.

In the years to come, ADNOC will continue to support the economic and social well-being of the people it serves around the world.
